New filter concept

Extraction unit for laser smoke with higher filtration performance

With the LAS 200.1, ULT is presenting another representative of the new ULT 200.1 product generation. The compact and mobile extraction system for laser fumes scores points above all with its new filter concept, which significantly increases the degree of pollutant separation.

A newly designed pre-filter package with filter mat and panel filter enables a significantly longer filter service life for the entire system, resulting in significantly lower operating costs in the long term: The use of coarse dust and fine dust filters in accordance with ISO 16890 significantly extends the service life of the H14 main filter. The HEPA filter in accordance with DIN EN 1822 is offered in combination with an adsorption filter, which further increases the filtration rate of the main filter.

However, users not only benefit from the higher degree of separation, i.e. exhaust air with an even lower fine dust content of <0.005%. The modularity of the extraction systems allows a high degree of flexibility with regard to changing process conditions, as the units can be fitted with different filter units as required.

The LAS 200.1 from ULT can be equipped with up to four collection elements such as extraction arms or hoses (DN 50, 75, 80).

The specially developed ecoflow CS technology automatically increases and reduces the extraction power of the appliance depending on the number of extraction points used. Thanks to this integrated constant negative pressure control and selectable pressure ranges, the extraction performance of the system can be flexibly adapted to the corresponding working conditions. In addition, this technology can automatically compensate for pressure losses caused by loaded filters.

The integrated M12 interface enables communication with a higher-level laser processing system. This means that the extraction system can only be put into operation when the laser machine is in use. This saves costs and is much more convenient for system operators.

The extensive portfolio of original accessories, which has been specially designed for the ULT-200 device series, offers further added value. This saves system users the time-consuming search for suitable accessories.
