Yaskawa at the SPS 2022
Automation, drive and control solutions
Comprehensive automation, drive and control solutions from a single source will define Yaskawa's presence at the SPS - from the process level, interfaces and controllers to application-specific drive technology and robot-based applications. The newly developed automation platform i³ Control will also take center stage.
It forms a technically coordinated overall solution for industry-specific control systems - from the engineering software and controller hardware to the integrated chip technology. As a prelude to the continuously growing i3 control portfolio, Yaskawa will be presenting the first PLC of this new platform in Nuremberg: the iC9210-PN.
The CR700 crane inverter and the LA500 lift inverter are also new. The Ethernet-based multi-protocol card is now available for the GA500 and GA700 series inverters, which enables four protocols on a single card and therefore makes commissioning more flexible.
Yaskawa will also be exhibiting the comprehensive and compact SLIO system (decentralized I/O system), which is characterized by numerous modules for input, output, function, power, etc.. It combines high functionality with a clever mechanical concept in a compact and maintenance-friendly design. The new EcosYstem from the Cobot portfolio, which offers a wide range of grippers, peripheral devices and other accessories, makes entry into robot automation smarter and easier. Yaskawa will also be using the Singular Control demo cell with handling robot and delta kinematics to show how machine builders and users can implement robots in existing architectures without the need for a dedicated programming device or proprietary robot programming language.
