Profisafe module for extended safety
With the Profisafe interface module SK TU4-PNS, Nord Drivesystems offers an optional module that meets the highest safety requirements, allows flexible integration of various safety components and ensures safe communication in Profinet environments. Safe inputs and outputs, for example for emergency stop switches and light curtains, can be connected to the application via plug connections. A rotary encoder can be connected to monitor the safe drive function. The module has two redundant microprocessors and is self-monitoring.
Different safe motion functions can be easily integrated and thus extend the safe stop functions of the drives: SLS, SSR, SDI, SOS and SSM. The module therefore offers comprehensive safety for the reliable operation of systems and machines. The module is suitable for both control cabinet devices and decentralized installation and is available for inverters from the Nordac Link, Nordac Flex and Nordac Pro series.
