The products, which are manufactured at the company's site in Schwerte, ensure smooth processes when controlling systems, particularly in industrial automation, and are geared towards Industry 4.0.

"With the new PLM 850 system family, we are expanding our range of master systems," says Marcel Sabo, Managing Director of Sabo Elektronik. The system architecture of the new product group corresponds to the previous models in the PLM 800 series and offers a powerful ARM quad-core processor. "The PLM 850 master compact systems without operating unit are available in three sizes with different functionalities, allowing us to offer our customers individual control solutions."

To further increase individuality, the system family also offers an I/O extension that allows the PLC systems to be equipped directly with expansion modules. Depending on the system size and the number of corresponding slots, one or more modules can be fitted at the rear and additional fieldbus modules can be added via the CAN bus.

The PLM 850 offers several mounting options and can therefore be used flexibly. The system can either be fixed using top-hat rail mounting or a mounting plate. This allows the master compact systems to be used in different environments.

The new system family is designed to meet the increasing requirements of automation technology. Extensive function modules, such as Modbus RTU for integrating additional devices or an OPC-UA server for seamless communication between machines, can be connected. Data security is also guaranteed thanks to the installation of a VPN solution for each control unit.
