Motion control applications
Matlab library for simulation and control software
ACS Motion Control has added a Matlab library to its SPii-Plus ADK Suite motion control software. The Matlab numerical simulation functions can be used to shorten the time-to-market for applications with ACS control systems.
As the library communicates with the motion controllers, developers can now implement user-defined motion profiles, control algorithms, FRF (Frequency Response Function) measurements or monitoring and diagnostic functions, for example. The new library supports Matlab R2011a (v.7.12) and higher as well as Microsoft Windows from Windows 7. The SPiiPlus application studio is therefore "Matlab-capable" and ACS Motion Control is an official "MathWorks partner".
