Smart sensors and predictive maintenance
Endress+Hauser at the Hannover Messe
Visitors to this year's trade fair in Hanover will experience how Endress+Hauser can support them in implementing their Industry 4.0 concepts. Smart sensors, solutions and services will demonstrate in specific applications that they are "ready for Industry 4.0".
The field devices have the connectivity required to transfer diagnostic data, such as that from Heartbeat Technology, to the cloud in parallel with the measured values. There is no need to intervene in existing controllers or control systems, for example thanks to an integrated WLAN/Bluetooth module or WirelessHART. For new systems, digital communication takes place directly via OPC-UA or Industrial Ethernet such as Profinet or Ethernet/IP. An edge device enables connection to cloud solutions.
In addition to digitalization, the focus is on innovations. With the functional enhancements to Heartbeat Technology, the company is putting predictive maintenance into practice. The TrustSens self-calibrating temperature sensor provides users with high process reliability and system availability. On the side of cost-optimized measuring devices for basic applications is the Picomag. The flowmeter uses simple operation and system integration, for example with I/O-Link. Endress+Hauser offers solutions and services for all phases in the life cycle of a system: from measuring point design and programming of the automation system to SIL commissioning, on-site calibrations and training. am
