The WE-MPSB was a focal point at the Würth Elektronik stand. According to the manufacturer, this SMT ferrite series with specified peak current carrying capacity is optimized for filtering highly efficient DC/DC switching regulators in harsh industrial environments. Other important products in the trade fair program include WE-MAPI, a small wound metal-alloy storage inductor, WE-LAN-AQ-10/100-Base-T transformers with improved return-loss and crosstalk characteristics as well as new MagI³C power modules. With MagI³C-VDMM (Variable Step Down MicroModule), Würth Elektronik eiSos is expanding its product range of power modules with high power density, very few external components and excellent electromagnetic compatibility with a particularly compact solution in an LGA-6EP housing. MagI³C-VDRM (Variable Step Down Regulator Module) is now available in the TO263-7EP design - ideal for prototyping.
In the field of electromechanics, high-quality WE-COM USB 3.1 type C sockets will be presented. These and other developments reflect Würth Elektronik's expectation that USB will continue to grow in importance in industrial applications. sw
