Rockwell Automation
Andreas Hamm appointed Managing Director for Germany
Rockwell Automation has announced the appointment of Andreas Hamm as Managing Director of Rockwell Automation GmbH. The 36-year-old graduate engineer has been with the company since 2005 and has already held various positions. In his new role, Hamm will be responsible for business development in the strategically important German automation market.
"The German market is extremely dynamic. The design of intelligent production processes and the implementation of digital transformation and virtual reality are just some of the current challenges," says Hamm. "Our focus is entirely on our customers, i.e. machine builders and manufacturers who want to develop continuously. With our solutions and services, we are very well positioned to provide them with optimal support. I look forward to helping to shape this path together with the entire sales team."
Andreas Hamm began his professional career at Rockwell Automation as a Field Service Engineer. Since then, he has worked for the company in various positions in Germany and abroad. These included technical sales support, end customer account manager and sales manager for the OEM mechanical engineering market in south-west Germany. After two years as Country Sales Director in Ireland, he returned to Germany in October 2017 to take over the entire sales management there.
