Regulatory-compliant additive against microorganisms on textiles and polymers
Microorganisms such as viruses, fungi and bacteria pose a challenge as they are not only harmful to health, but can also impair the product quality and shelf life of polymers. Until now, antimicrobial technologies that release silver ions have been used to combat microbial contamination. These technologies will probably no longer be usable in the near future. AGXX antimicrobial technology works in a fundamentally different way to all conventional biocides.
