The shooter
Individual production, changeable workstations, adaptable production structures - these are current buzzwords in the industry. The "4E-Fifo-Shooter" from Item is designed to enable end-to-end flexibility, efficient work processes and short set-up times at the workplace.
It is an electrically height-adjustable work table in combination with a Fifo shelf. The workstation can be individually configured for optimum adaptation to process-related requirements while at the same time relieving the strain on employees. If the height of the work area changes, the inserted supply shelf moves with it. A torsion-resistant structure guarantees load capacities of up to 4,000 newtons. Roller conveyors on several levels allow the workstations to be extensively equipped.
The material feed and return of empty containers is customized and individual - implemented by Karakuri. If the employee adjusts the height of the work table electrically, the crates are released from their blockages on the inclined roller conveyors of the supply trolley. The containers move directly into the employee's gripping area. They benefit from short gripping distances and direct access to the material. If there is a change in production, the mobile staging rack can be replaced with another, already pre-equipped rack within seconds. pb
