Workpiece carrier system

Transport system for low weights

The new Versaflex workpiece carrier system now rounds off the mk portfolio. The tried-and-tested systems based on timing belts, accumulating roller chains, chains and flat plate conveyors are now being expanded to include a single-track, lightweight hinged belt conveyor system, also known as a plastic chain conveyor.

The system is designed for products weighing up to ten kilograms per workpiece carrier and has a system width of 85 millimetres (chain width 83 millimetres). Thanks to the single-track design and curve radii from 160 millimetres, complex routes can be mapped in confined spaces. And all this with just one drive and a speed of 25 meters per minute. The workpiece carriers are guided with the aid of lateral guides. In addition to the conveyor sections, functional modules such as stoppers for accumulating, buffering or separating and diverters for distributing the workpiece carriers on several conveyor tracks are available. The system also has positioning units for precise centering or for decoupling the workpiece carriers during loading or removal. as
