Modular material flow

With the Moduline material flow solution from Treston, production lines can be installed flexibly without a great deal of design effort. Production lines can be constructed from standardized modules according to the I-principle, L-principle and U-principle.

Moduline reduces production costs by separating the process steps. Material feed and assembly are considered in isolation from each other. The assembly process is carried out according to the "one-piece-flow" principle, the material flow according to the "first-in-first-out" principle. Order peaks are absorbed by a Kanban supply system. Empty boxes return to the material requirements on a counter-rotating path and trigger a new material order.

A Moduline production line consists of five standardized transfer modules, which can be made up of work stations with a lifting station or turning station, various transfer extensions or curves; the line can be modified at any time by adding or removing further modules. as
