X-Frame comes with its little brother

In recent years, Häwa has continuously expanded the areas of application with its patented X-frame machine frame. At Motek, the supplier of electrical enclosures and control cabinets is now showcasing its new manual workstation.

"For us, this 'little brother' of X-frame is a symbol of the fact that there are no limits to the X-frame system," says Volker Ott, Head of Department at Häwa. "Whether it's small assembly stations or large housing, everything is possible." The manual workstation is equipped with electric height adjustment, which enables the work surface to be raised and lowered conveniently. Pneumatic and electrical connections can be integrated individually, as can monitors, 19-inch slide-in units or sliding rails for cordless screwdrivers. In order to make the workmanship of Häwa products visible and tangible from the outside, the frame is coated with robust ESD powder in an elaborate process.

With X-frame, Häwa has succeeded in establishing a completely new and patented system on the market. The special feature here is a modular, extremely robust frame made of sheet steel in various stabilities. This frame has lockable flaps so that cables, supply lines or other components can be laid safely and conveniently inside.

A new, space-saving lifting door system has recently been developed, as have laser safety enclosures, which can be completely light-tight on request. The X-frame housing with extremely stable struts can be designed for highly dynamic robots. For use in the food and pharmaceutical industries, for example, in clean room and wet areas, the machine housing can be fitted with appropriate seals, sloping surfaces and glued-in panes. Häwa control cabinets can be connected directly to the X-frame cell on a rotating frame. as
