Increasingly flexible production with changing products, different activities and employees places new demands on the modern workplace. Only height-adjustable workstations can offer every employee an ergonomic work surface. Rexroth has designed nine versions of its lifting modules to enable users to implement any application economically. The new lifting modules offer compressive forces of 1,000, 1,600 or 3,200 newtons in three stroke lengths of between 350 and 500 millimetres. This means that even heavy-duty superstructures can be implemented at manual workstations. At the same time, the modules open up a wide range of applications thanks to their high tensile forces and stability under lateral forces.

The lifting modules achieve high lifting speeds of up to 25 millimetres per second, a maximum tilting moment in the longitudinal direction of up to 500 Newton meters and a tensile force of up to 1,600 Newtons. This allows workstations to be rearranged flexibly. When lifting the work surface, the high tensile force holds the entire substructure. Assembly and operation are simple and standardized, according to the company. With the appropriate control unit and an optional distributor, the connected lifting modules can be controlled in parallel. The slim design of the hand control with display and four memory buttons is intended to make operation easier.

Efficiency through ergonomic LED light
Ergonomic lighting conditions have a significant effect on the well-being of employees. The right lighting increases motivation, performance, effectiveness and satisfaction. The prerequisites for ergonomic lighting are optimum illuminance and color temperature as well as the avoidance of strong contrast, glare or reflection. Compliance with these guideline values is regulated by DIN EN 12 464. With the new SL LED economic system light, Rexroth offers a compact and inexpensive plug-and-play solution for setting up ergonomic workstations.

It is available in two versions: the 580 millimetre long SL 12 LED economic for workstations up to 1,000 millimetres wide and the 870 millimetre long SL 12 LED economic wide for workstations up to 1,600 millimetres wide. Rexroth also points out the low energy consumption of the LEDs and a long service life of at least 50,000 hours. Thanks to its matt optics with a 60-degree beam angle, the SL LED economic is said to enable glare-free working. as
