Minitec opens plant in USA
Minitec continues to focus on internationalization and opens a new plant in the US state of New York. The modern building will offer attractive working conditions for 40 employees. Further training measures based on the German model are also planned.
In Farmington (US state of New York), around an hour's drive from Niagara Falls, the new Minitec Framing LLC plant was officially opened in spring. The modern building is designed to offer attractive working conditions for around 40 employees. With an investment of around six million US dollars, the building was constructed with an area of 5,000 square meters. It reflects the latest findings in workplace design and is also intended to inspire American Minitec customers for their own projects.
Minitec Framing's range of services includes the design and assembly of customized solutions for workplace design, machine protection, conveyor technology and linear technology. The basis for all designs is the Minitec profile system. The American plant is networked with the headquarters in West Palatinate in order to guarantee secure data exchange and ensure the high level of quality across national borders.
A special feature of the American plant is the wide range of in-house offers for professional training and qualification. The company offers courses in CNC programming, CAD design and mechatronics two working days a week. The courses take place after working hours and Minitec covers the costs of the training. The aim of the measure is to achieve a level of training similar to the German dual system. as
