Machining center
Second generation at the start
The Swiss machine tool manufacturer Reiden Technik has been asserting itself on the international market for years with the Reiden RX10. With remarkable options, such as the patented double drive spindle "DDT", the company consistently responds to customer requirements.
The second generation of the Reiden RX10 will be presented at the current Intec. The formwork has been redesigned and is now supplied with a complete stainless steel interior. The outer casing has also been redesigned and features additional functions, such as the ergonomically height-adjustable control panel, the two touch screen monitors and a loading drawer for loading five tools into the tool magazine at the same time. Reiden has taken care not to exceed the compact installation dimensions of 16 square meters, which is a special feature for a five-axis machining center with travels of 1,000 x 1,100 x 810 millimeters. By adapting the shuttering, the proven 12,000 HSK100 spindle with 452 newtons of torque can now also be fitted, which has already proved its worth on the Reiden RX12. Neither the travel distance nor the large oscillating circuit diameter of 1,350 millimetres in the interior change.
With the appropriate spindle clamping and a direct-drive work table, the machine can now also be used as a complete milling/turning machining center. pb
