Motek/Bondexpo 2019
In focus: industrial feasibility
The 38th Motek - International Trade Fair for Production and Assembly Automation - is in the starting blocks together with the 13th Bondexpo - International Trade Fair for Bonding Technologies. Robotics and automation take center stage. The highlight of the trade fair from October 7 to 10, 2019 is the "Arena of Integration".
Motek and Bondexpo are on the home straight in terms of dates. The trade fair duo focuses on the industrial manufacturing process as an overall system as part of the ongoing, end-to-end digitalization of automation. No other trade fair paints such a comprehensive picture of what modern manufacturing must look like. Motek 2019 aims to show that digitalization and integration are not just buzzwords, but usable reality; visitors will find answers to current questions that are practically relevant on the way to the smart factory.
The Arena of Integration will demonstrate that comprehensive system, process and component integration can already be implemented in everyday industrial life.
Design engineers, users and production managers see the pragmatically designed trade fair duo, which takes place every year in the fall, as an indispensable must-attend event when it comes to practical solutions for modern industrial production and assembly. Visitors will find assembly systems, handling technology, robots, joining and screwdriving technology, material flow and conveyor systems, measuring and testing technology as well as drives, control systems, sensors and software. The portfolio includes basic systems, details and components as well as cross-divisional solutions, networked and interlinked systems including software and industrial communication.
Motek represents the entire world of rapidly changing process automation.
As no product or system can stand on its own any more, everyday industrial life is all about practicable and comprehensive integration. With the Arena of Integration (AoI), an integrative theme park, the trade fair organizer, in cooperation with the Baden-Württemberg Mechatronics Network and renowned exhibitors, will showcase intelligent production and process chains via use cases. "Connectivity" becomes practice here and is the focus of the AoI: companies have developed project ideas together and demonstrate industrial production processes in conjunction with digital applications. They show what processes need to look like as part of the ongoing digitalization of production automation in order to be efficient and economical. Networking on the technological side on the one hand and on the entrepreneurial side on the other: the Arena of Integration shows that competitors can also be partners.
With the traditional exhibitor forum and the "Arena of Communication" located in the vicinity of the AoI, trade visitors will find a unique knowledge platform where they can acquire specific know-how and discuss concrete solutions to problems in presentations and professional exchanges. pb
