By integrating a robot into a very small space, it has been possible to develop a system that could be a lifesaver for many small to medium-sized companies, says Martin Systems. The cell can take on various tasks at different points in the company. It is barely larger than a workshop trolley and can load and unload various machining centers fully automatically. At the heart of this is the software, which ensures that the changeover is worthwhile even for small batches. The software contains various presettings and a convenient selection menu in which only the individual parameters need to be entered.

The hardware is also designed for maximum flexibility, and additional functions such as cleaning, deburring or measuring can optionally be performed by the cell. Speedy can also operate as a stand-alone machining center. When set up separately, it can work autonomously for a long time thanks to its large memory, thus creating new capacities. A laser scanner ensures safety and free access to the cell. Loading parallel to machining time is possible thanks to accessibility from both sides. as
