X-frame housing system
All advantages in one manual workstation
Häwa presents further developments to its patented X-Frame enclosure system. Experience and new developments have been transferred to a manual workstation.
With X-frame, Häwa has established a new and patented system on the market. The special feature is a modular, extremely robust frame made of sheet steel in various stabilities. This frame has lockable flaps so that cables, supply lines or other components can be laid safely and conveniently inside.
A new, space-saving lifting door system has recently been developed, as well as a laser protection system with protection class 4 and a light-tight version. The X-frame housing can be designed with extremely stable struts for dynamic robots. For use in the food and pharmaceutical industries, for example, in clean room and wet areas, the machine housing can be equipped with appropriate seals, sloping surfaces and bonded panes.
Volker Ott, head of the X-frame machine frame department at Häwa: "X-frame is an extremely flexible system and is always adapted to the requirements of the respective special machine in collaboration with our customers." The experience and new developments have now been transferred to a manual workstation. "For us, this 'little brother' is a sign that there are no limits to the X-frame system," says Volker Ott. "Whether it's small assembly stations or large housing, everything is possible."
The Häwa manual workstation has an electric height adjustment system that allows the work surface to be conveniently raised and lowered. Pneumatic and electrical connections can be individually integrated, as can monitors, 19-inch slide-in units or sliding rails for cordless screwdrivers. The frame is coated with robust ESD powder in an elaborate process to make the quality visible and tangible from the outside. as
