Analysis software for rolling bearings

The correct design of rolling bearing supports is crucial for the performance of countless machines. To support engineers and technicians in the professional selection of rolling bearings, SKF offers "SimPro Quick", an analysis software that users can test free of charge for three months. The tool enables a quick performance analysis and closes the gap between simple online tools or apps and the "high-end" multi-shaft simulation program SKF SimPro Expert.

Analysis software for rolling bearings

SimPro Quick is a single-shaft rolling bearing calculation program with up to 10 rolling bearings on one shaft, which enables a quick analysis of rolling bearings based on individual requirements and operating conditions. In this way, it supports the user in selecting the optimum rolling bearings for the planned design. A constantly updated selection module makes it even easier to select the right bearings.

A calculation model with all components can be created via an intuitive graphical user interface. Operating conditions such as speed, external loads, lubrication, lubricant, shaft and housing fits can then be added to this model. The user can then carry out a simple service life analysis as well as a complete load and speed cycle. It is also possible to optimize the bearing preload. Finally, SimPro Quick provides comprehensive documentation of the calculation results with all the important information. These results can be visualized in various diagrams and a 3D model. am
