FDM filament
Print abrasion-resistant components yourself
Sliding and wear-resistant special parts can often be designed quickly, but special production using injection molding or mechanical processing is costly and can be very expensive for small quantities.
This is why more and more companies are turning to 3D printing for the production of their special parts. Igus has developed a new all-rounder material for printing heavy-duty components. Iglidur I190 is also suitable for the construction of sliding components for multi-material parts, as it bonds very well with highly rigid materials. The lubricant-free filament is easy to process on all commercially available closed 3D printers with a heatable printing plate. The printed parts can also be used at temperatures of up to 90 °C. Igus currently offers a total of eight filaments for the FDM process and three high-performance polymers for the SLS process.
