Performance 3D printing bridges the gap between desktop and industrial 3D printing by making industrial 3D printer capabilities available to designers and engineers at a significantly lower cost. The Method utilizes industrial technology and Stratasys' expertise.

The printer features a heated print chamber with air circulation, dual extrusion, water-soluble PVA filament for highly accurate results, sealed material compartments and a sturdy steel frame construction. It also has integrated sensors and automation features that provide users with seamless operation. The printer's industrial features control the 3D printing process to deliver a high degree of precision, reliability and dimensional accuracy at an affordable price.

The printer delivers repeatable and uniform parts with a dimensional accuracy of ±0.2 mm, high uniformity of print layers and cylindricity. The dual extrusion system and the water-soluble PVA ensure a very good surface finish and enable unlimited geometries, such as complex overhangs.

Design risks can be reduced as prototypes can be tested and validated early, often and with high accuracy. The device is also characterized by greater speed and control over product design cycles.
