New online portal for 3D printing
Stratasys Ltd, an industry leader in additive technology solutions, announces the launch of a new online 3D printing portal on the company's website, available in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH).
The portal expands Stratasys' service offering in the DACH region with on-demand production of parts. This enables designers, engineers and manufacturers to easily and quickly request their design and production requirements by ordering 3D printed parts online.
he Stratasys production service for parts can be accessed via the German-language Stratasys website after simple registration in the online 3D printing portal. Within minutes, users simply upload their designs and STL files, choose between Stratasys' flagship FDM and PolyJet technologies and select the required materials. Once the online request has been completed, a newly developed cost calculator provides users with an instant quote. If the customer wishes to proceed, the order will be processed by a regional certified partner who will take care of the 3D printing and delivery of the required parts.
"Whether it's one-off orders or manufacturers who need large quantities in a short time due to additional orders, requests can be fulfilled quickly and easily through our new online 3D printing portal," says Matthias Gukelberger, Head of Services at Stratasys EMEA. "With a Global Manufacturing Network (GMN) of authorized partners worldwide, part production can be done locally to help customers reduce their supply chains. Our GMN is like a virtual, digital factory and is critical: should a customer order a large number of parts that the regional partner cannot fulfill on their own, other authorized partners with the necessary tools and capabilities are ready to handle the request."
Stratasys' leading additive technologies are used in a wide range of industries, including aerospace, automotive, healthcare, consumer goods, education and research. Whether customers require high-resolution color multi-material prototypes produced with unique PolyJet 3D printing technology or robust high-performance FDM thermoplastics for the most demanding production applications, Stratasys' regional GMN partners are ready to meet all customer needs.
