Kito takes over light crane manufacturer

With effect from January 31, 2018, Kito has acquired the Finnish light crane manufacturer Erikkila. From now on, the family-owned company will be managed under the Kito Europe umbrella. The deal expands Kito's range of premium hoists to include complete light crane systems and workstation cranes.

Torwegge grows in Bielefeld

Torwegge has expanded the Bielefeld site and created the spatial capacities required for further growth. Production, storage areas and offices have been enlarged. As part of the construction project, the company has set up a showroom for product presentations and training rooms for internal training courses.

Ziehl-Abegg posts record sales

The fan and motor manufacturer Ziehl-Abegg grew by around twelve percent in 2017. According to preliminary figures, turnover rose from 484 million euros to 540 million euros. The number of employees reached a record high of over 3,900. The company traditionally does not disclose profit figures.

The personally liable partner of the Hörmann Group, Christoph Hörmann, has signed the purchase agreement for the acquisition of Hermann Automation. In doing so, the company intends to strengthen its recently integrated access control systems business.
