uEye CP cameras
New sensor, better image
IDS is integrating the high-resolution 12 MP rolling shutter sensor IMX226 into the uEye CP camera family. The new models with GigE or USB3 interface and vision standard will be available from May 2019, according to the company.
Thanks to BSI technology from the Sony Starvis series ("back-side illumination"), the sensor is suitable for tasks that require very good results even in low light conditions. It delivers extremely low-noise images and is therefore suitable for applications in areas such as microscopy, medicine, logistics and traffic monitoring. Thanks to the sensor size of 1/1.7", a large selection of cost-effective lenses is also available for the uEye CP cameras, which measure just 29 x 29 x 29 millimetres. The sensor will also be available in either color or monochrome versions. Thanks to the IDS Software Suite, users also experience practical "plug & play" with these cameras: the models are automatically recognized in the system and are immediately ready for use. as
