Transmitter

Measuring in the ATEX 2 danger zone

Hesch has redesigned the HE 5409 transmitter. It is now approved for ATEX zone 2. The HE 5409 differential pressure transmitter is a universal transmitter for low and medium pressures. Measuring ranges between 0 to 2.5 and 0 to 1,000 mbar are available.

The electronics of the transmitter are housed in a compact housing with hinged catches.

Opening and closing is screwless with hinge technology. To open the appliance, simply insert a slotted screwdriver at the designated point on the housing cover to lever open the lock. The housing cover remains on the device thanks to the hinge technology and does not need to be completely removed. The connection area is easily accessible as the housing cover can be opened up to an angle of 105°. The wiring effort is low thanks to 2-wire technology. Previously, the converter was already approved for use in Ex zone 22 in addition to normal ambient conditions. It is now also certified for ATEX zone 2. sw
