The 1.6 MP global shutter CMOS sensor IMX273 offers high sensitivity, low susceptibility to noise and high dynamic range. From April 2019, uEye LE models will complement the previously available uEye CP, uEye FA and uEye SE variants with IMX273 from the Sony Pregius series. Depending on the intended use, customers can choose from models with a color or monochrome sensor as well as different housing and board level variants - the latter with the options CS-/C-Mount, S-Mount or without mount.

In addition, the cost-effective uEye LE single-board cameras have a torsion-proof USB Type-C connection and USB Power Delivery. The USB 3.1 Gen 1 cameras can be put into operation quickly and conveniently thanks to the IDS-typical plug and play principle and easy handling via the IDS Software Suite.

According to the company, users of cameras with this global shutter sensor benefit from excellent image quality. This is particularly evident when used in poor lighting conditions or when shooting fast-moving objects. Thanks to its outstanding properties, the high-performance 1/3" sensor is not only an alternative to the discontinued ICX445 CCD sensor, but also offers a wide range of applications: from microscopy images to classic machine vision tasks in industrial production and traffic monitoring, it can be used in a variety of areas. as
