Sick strengthens digitalization and global growth

Sick expands its Management Board as of January 1. Feng Jiao has been appointed to the Management Board and will be responsible for Sales & Service.

Dr. Mats Gökstorp, previously responsible for Sales & Service, will take over the newly created Products & Marketing department. The Supervisory Board is thus setting the course for further growth in the rapidly changing technology and market environment of sensor technology.

Feng Jiao is an engineer and internationally experienced sales specialist who can look back on many years of professional experience in North America and Asia. Since 2014, the 51-year-old Canadian has been in charge of the Sick Group's business activities in China and is responsible for the company's sustainable growth in the Chinese market. Before joining Sick, Feng Jiao held senior sales positions at the technology companies Harting and Siemens. In his role as Chief Sales & Service Officer, he will be responsible for sales in all markets and regions.

Dr. Mats Gökstorp, Chief Sales & Service Officer since 2013, will take over the newly created Products & Marketing department. This will combine all functions required for the market-side implementation of digitalization. Gökstorp has a wealth of experience in sales and product management.

Dr Robert Bauer, Chairman of the Management Board of Sick AG, will continue to focus on the area of Technology & Digitalization and further expand the Group's innovative strength.
