Promess production celebrates its fifth birthday
In 2014, Promess decided to set up its own production facility in order to be independent of suppliers. This year, the Promess production facility is celebrating its fifth anniversary.
Founded in 2014 by Promess Montage- und Prüfsysteme, the company now employs ten people. René Löhr, Managing Director of Promess Fertigung, was there from the very beginning: "It was a very exciting and challenging time. You don't often get the chance to set up your own production facility in life."
Over the past five years, Löhr has not only formed a reliable team, but also built up a modern machine park. This includes four machining centers, a keyseating machine and a robot system for automatic loading of the processing machines. This enables Löhr to manufacture all precision parts required by its parent company, Promess Montage, for its universal joining modules, such as outer tubes or press punches.
Promess Montage decided to set up its own production facility five years ago with the aim of becoming independent of suppliers and being able to manufacture in a cost-oriented manner. "Setting up our own production was exactly the right decision. We would do it again and again," says Florian Köhnen, Managing Director of Promess Montage. as
