Miniature optosensors

Powerful with a long range

With the Q2X series from Banner Engineering, Turck presents compact miniature opto sensors with maximum ranges and five different detection modes for a wide range of applications.

The optical sensors enable the position detection of small components and can be installed on the smallest of surfaces. The laser measurement with a range of 3 m is particularly noteworthy - almost four times greater than comparable models. The laser scanners use laser time-of-flight technology, which enables precise measurements and reliably detects even small objects - an advantage in the semiconductor and packaging industries. The infrared laser also detects dark or shiny polybags. The sensors can be easily integrated into control systems. The devices can be conveniently integrated via the Turck Automation Suite IIoT and service platform. Measured values and diagnostics can be accessed via IO-Link.
