Measurement technology at a glance
Wika has published a new brochure for the iron and steel industry with measurement technology for efficient process control. It provides a compact overview of industry-specific products and solutions for measuring pressure, temperature, force, level and flow.
The comprehensive selection takes into account the sometimes extreme process conditions in this market segment with pressures of up to 10,000 bar and temperatures of up to 2,000 °C. It is illustrated using an integrated steelworks: from the sintering plant to the blast furnace to the continuous casting plant, each individual area is compared with a corresponding set of measuring instruments. Customers also receive information on engineered solutions and sensors for networked processes. A further chapter is dedicated to calibration technology and the associated services. The brochure is available as a PDF file on the Wika website or as a print version.
