Company anniversary
Leuze electronic turns 55
Leuze electronic's 55-year success story began with the Cono-pack, an electromechanical packaging machine. The development of the world's smallest reflex head at the time marked the company's entry into the industrial automation market.
Numerous innovations followed. For example, the ASi bus and the safe ASi were invented by Leuze electronic. Safety monitors with various labels come from Leuze electronic's production facilities. Today, the company focuses on intralogistics, the packaging industry, machine tools, the automotive industry and laboratory automation. The portfolio includes switching and measuring sensors, identification systems, solutions for image processing and data transmission as well as components and systems for occupational safety.
Several years of double-digit growth have not only led to an increase in sales figures, but also in the number of employees. Today, more than 1,200 employees work in development, production, sales and service at 22 locations, supported by more than 40 sales partners worldwide. Growth also means more space is required. Leuze electronic will therefore continue to invest internationally in new structures in the future. At its headquarters in Owen/Teck, southern Germany, not only are additional office workplaces and new employee parking spaces currently being created, but investments are also being made in the areas of production and logistics. as
