Financial year 2021
Kübler Group reports record sales
The Kübler Group records its highest turnover to date in 2021 and achieves growth of around 25 percent to reach over € 80 million in the Group.
And this despite the fact that, like most companies on the market, Kübler also had to deal with supply bottlenecks and price increases for materials. "The even higher order intake would have allowed even more turnover, but the global supply chains had a slowing effect. Nevertheless, we were able to deliver all products with reasonable delivery times," report Lothar and Gebhard Kübler, the two managing partners, with satisfaction. "We owe this success to our hard-working and loyal employees, who have often pushed themselves to their limits to make customer wishes possible. We greatly appreciate this and feel very connected to our team as a large global family".
Martin Huth, Managing Director Sales / Markom, adds: "We have grown in all regions worldwide, most strongly in the DACH region. Successes with some key customers, which we developed in previous years through the Kübler Technology Talks, also contributed to this. For example, we have worked with customers to develop integrated, smart Kübler encoder systems for new generations of asynchronous motors and are already supplying considerable quantities.
Kübler is known for its expertise in several sectors. These have made a significant contribution to the record turnover. For example, Kübler has expanded its range of sensors for elevator technology: from bearingless encoders for "pancake drives" to encoders for different elevator motors and safe shaft copying systems for precise positioning of the elevator car.
It is important to the management that, in these turbulent times, the family business with over 500 employees is changing and digitalizing rapidly on the one hand, while on the other, the company's leaders are focusing on long-term values and goals in order to offer customers and employees worldwide a high level of planning security. Dynamism, innovation and flexibility paired with corporate values such as trust, reliability and family spirit are the driving forces at Kübler.
According to Gebhard Kübler, Industrial Ethernet in combination with Industry 4.0 also makes an important contribution to this. "Digitalization offers great opportunities, as the need for sensor technology in machines is increasing in order to generate more data." Rotary encoders and slip rings play a major role in this. "Our Industrial Ethernet rotary encoder business is growing because these components provide measurement, diagnostic and identification data - with direct communication to the Ethernet network," the Managing Director continues. He also mentions products with IO-Link as a further aspect of the Industry 4.0 strategy. A digital service offering with a view to asset management and predictive maintenance is currently being implemented at Kübler.
