Inclinometer
Easy to use, robust and compact
Stabila has added two electronic inclinometers to its range for use in production and manufacturing: a hand-held device for flexible, mobile use and a measuring station that is ideal for long-term measurements and allows the measurement data to be documented.
The Tech 500 DP and Tech 1000 DP single-axis electronic inclinometers from Stabila have a wide range of applications in industry and trade. They are used wherever work processes are to be made more efficient, long-term measurements are required, for quality assurance and maintenance, as part of automation measures and for alignment during commissioning and after the conversion of machines and systems. A typical application for the Tech 500 DP as a hand-held device is inspection and adjustment work, for example to check the parallelism of the gripper and holder. As a measuring station for documented long-term measurements, the Tech 1000 DP can be used to check and monitor changes in position, among other things.
The measuring process for measurements from 0 to 360° is uncomplicated and user-friendly. Acoustic guidance with three different signal tones enables quick alignment. The zero point can be easily set using the reversal measurement. At 0° and 90° the accuracy is ±0.05°, from 1° to 89° ±0.2° or ±0.1° (Tech 1000 DP).
With their anodized, waterproof and dustproof housing (IP65), the compact devices are robust and designed for a long service life. The digital display is easy to read even in poor lighting conditions. The T-slot allows flexible fastening with sliding blocks, the V-slot allows precise positioning on pipes and the rare earth magnet ensures a secure hold on steel beams and pipes. While the Tech 500 DP hand-held device achieves an operating time of approx. 150 hours with two AA batteries, the Tech 1000 DP model can be operated with a Li-Ion battery, mains plug or interface. The Tech 1000 DP has an RS-485 interface with Modbus protocol for documenting measurement data.
