Pressure transmitter
Hygienic process reliability
The Jumo Taros S46 H pressure transmitter is designed to meet hygienic requirements for precision measurement and durability.
The Jumo Taros S46 H is suitable for the food industry, CIP and SIP applications, sterilizers and autoclaves as well as for all hygienic pressure measurement applications. According to the manufacturer, the pressure transmitter also ensures maximum operational safety in pharmaceutical, medical and biotechnology applications. Protection classes from IP65 to IP69 enable use in all areas, regardless of the ambient conditions. The use of FDA-compliant materials and hygienic process connections (Clamp, Varivent, Jumo Peka) is intended to guarantee safety and good cleanability.
The factory-set measuring ranges for the Taros S46 H are between 0 and 100 bar. An autoclavable version is available for special applications. The medium temperature can be between minus 40 and plus 125 degrees Celsius. The medium temperature can even reach 140 degrees Celsius for a maximum of one hour per day, which is ideal for CIP and SIP applications. The linearity and long-term stability are both at a very low 0.1 percent. The overall accuracy at 20 degrees Celsius is a maximum of 0.25 percent of the measuring span.
The zero point can be easily corrected using a magnet, for example after the autoclave process. This allows the pressure transmitter to provide reliable measured values over a long period of time. as
