The digital flow switch of the PF3A8#H series from SMC fulfills a wide range of requirements.
The modular complete solution simultaneously visualizes pressure and temperature values on its 3-colour display, allows the detection of small leaks thanks to its high flow ratio of 100:1 and is equipped for Industry 4.0 with an IO-Link port. Three variants are available in the PF3A#H series: PF3A7#H as a pipe version up to 12,000 l/min and as a modular version up to 2,000 l/min as well as the new PF3A8#H series, which also reaches 2000 l/min.
By combining several sensors in a one-piece, durable aluminum round housing, only one device and one IO-Link are required to monitor the compressed air supply. In addition, the bypass design minimizes the contact of moist air or foreign matter with the sensor, thereby preventing inaccuracy and damage.
