The increasing demand for innovative temperature measurement technology and system products as well as the introduction of new product lines made the expansion necessary. The modern new building has sloping façades for sun protection, while large glass fronts allow plenty of light into the interior. In addition, the new building is based on a sustainable energy concept: the electricity from the photovoltaic system installed on the roof of the building completely covers the base load of the production processes. E-bike charging stations also underline the sustainability concept.

Together with the construction of the production building, production and logistics processes were also optimized. The operating processes were structured according to lean principles and the one-piece flow approach. This makes it possible to strengthen the personal responsibility of employees, increase production flexibility and make optimum use of machine and equipment capacities.
