dTrans series
Saves space during installation
The dTrans-T08 series and the dTrans-S08 series from Jumo include nine measuring transducer and 13 signal/isolating transducer variants; the products have a slimline housing and are suitable for mounting on standard DIN rails or special busbars.
The temperature transmitters and signal/isolating converters in the series are just six millimetres wide and can be mounted on standard top-hat rails or special busbars without the need for an air gap. This saves valuable space during installation. At the same time, Jumo points out a high level of accuracy and very good galvanic isolation.
Another special feature is the quick commissioning on site, even without a PC or setup program. More than 1,000 different measuring ranges for the temperature transmitters or the desired signal characteristics for the signal converters can be easily set using DIP switches. The basic accuracy is up to 0.05 percent in all available signal ranges, and galvanic isolation of 2.5 kilovolts AC has been tested for all devices. The devices are forgiving of wiring errors, as all terminals are protected against voltages of up to plus/minus 31.2 volts DC.
Thanks to a short response time of less than 30 milliseconds for the temperature transmitters and less than seven milliseconds for the signal converters, a fast conversion of the signals for the control system can be guaranteed for process measurements. This makes the transmitters suitable for rapidly changing signals, such as thermocouple sensors, and the signal/supply isolators - for the power supply and signal isolation for two-wire transmitters.
The transmitters can be used in an ambient temperature range of minus 25 to plus 70 degrees Celsius and have a low temperature drift during signal processing. The high insulation resistance of 2.5 kilovolts AC ensures stable measurement with critical sensor/signal potential couplings. Approvals such as UL, DNV GL, ATEX and IECEx enable use in a wide range of applications and fields of application. as
