Automation software
Testing software for operators of energy systems
With the PEC-EX software, R. Stahl aims to make it easier for plant operators to plan, carry out and document prescribed tests on their explosion-protected equipment. PEC-EX is part of the "Plant Engineering Center" (PEC) from the software company AGU.
In addition to PEC-EX, PEC comprises the PEC-FS module for the central documentation of functional safety tests and the creation of the necessary evidence, as well as the PEC-SQ module for processing operational safety and quality tests. PEC is intended to make it possible to harmonize previously often scattered archived and heterogeneously structured protocols for a wide variety of safety tests and to manage them in a purely digital form. According to the manufacturer, the merged data can be searched or filtered across the board, flexibly evaluated and used for ongoing status monitoring.
PEC-EX is specifically designed to automate, greatly simplify and speed up preparatory work for electrical and mechanical tests in hazardous areas - thanks to the integrated test plan generator for the various types of protection and an extensive device database. PEC runs in the browser and is designed to be used directly on site on mobile devices such as tablets. sw
