Equipped with a collaborative robot and all associated devices, the workstation allows the 3D scanners to be used in both portable and automated mode. The complete solution with cobot is easy to install and use and can be seamlessly integrated into the VXscan-R digital twin environment. This makes it a user-friendly all-in-one system that can be operated by anyone, including employees who are unfamiliar or unfamiliar with the technology. A small footprint and a lightweight and compact design are further features of the hybrid solution.

The manufacturer claims to want to democratize access to automated solutions and automation as a whole. The turnkey quality control package is particularly suitable for SMEs and other companies taking their first steps in the field of automation. The design - scanner on cobot - promises benefits such as increased productivity and error reduction. Handyscan 3D or Metrascan 3D can also be used on the move at any time; this increases versatility and availability and avoids workpiece transportation.
