The SMART way to move products
What do a cobot gripper, a lifter, a vacuum ejector and a vacuum conveyor have in common? Not only do they all use highly efficient and powerful vacuum technology, they are also all equipped with Piab's piSMART® technology, which measures the key parameters of the processes during handling, optimizes them as a self-learning system and issues warnings in the event of deviations from specifications. This conserves resources - especially energy and compressed air - and reduces them to a minimum, cutting costs and extending the service life of the individual components and the overall system.
Thanks to the predictive maintenance that this enables, downtimes are also minimized. Simulation on the basis of digital twins enables optimum system configuration during development and thus allows a faster product launch.
