The smart servo axis for handling tasks

As production becomes more flexible, the number of axes that need to be controlled and synchronized also increases. Lenze's new, easy-to-use powerhouse is tailored precisely to these future-oriented servo applications. It consists of three completely newly developed components: The i950 servo inverter, the m850 synchronous motor and the g700 planetary gearbox. Thanks to its good scalability, the combination can cover an extremely wide range of applications and is also very economically attractive.

The i950 inverter is a real powerhouse. Its computing power and the integrated EtherCAT port also enable the complex synchronization of several decentrally controlled axes at high speed. It can be freely programmed or used as an actuator under a CiA402 motion controller. However, the most common operating mode is probably the use of the integrated FAST software modules. Parameterization instead of programming is the motto here.

And since innovative customer services and new business models in the IIoT sector require a broad database, the smart servo axis also supports this. The i950 provides all relevant data relating to the drive - such as speed, load current, motor temperature and much more. It already supports the widespread MQTT protocol, which enables data collection and integration right up to the cloud.
