Just in time for the Hannover Messe, Turck is launching the PS+ pressure sensor, the first model in a newly developed, modular fluid sensor family that promises users reliable and intuitive measuring instruments. Devices for temperature and flow measurement will follow in the course of the year. The robust sensors in the PS+ series mark a generational change in fluid sensor technology and have already received the iF Design Award at the product launch.

User-friendly design

The PS+ pressure sensors are particularly easy to put into operation. Overhead mounting is just as possible as turning the sensor head by 340°. The user interface with capacitive touchpads and a bi-color display allows quick settings in the plain text menu (according to Turck or VDMA standard). A side effect of the hermetically sealed operating unit is a strong resistance to dirt and liquids, which is why the sensors fulfill the ISO protection classes IP6K7K, IP6K7 and IP6K9K. The PS+ series is designed for pressure ranges up to 600 bar and is available with both ceramic measuring cells (PS310) and metal measuring cells (PS510).

Visit Turck at the Hannover Messe 2019 in Hall 9, Stand H55.
