Productivity meets ergonomics

According to a study by the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (BAuA), 130 million days of absence from work and production losses of almost 14 billion euros occur in companies every year - due to absences from work caused by musculoskeletal disorders that occur as a result of postural damage or overload at the workplace.

To avoid this, it is very important to design workstations ergonomically in order to make production efficient, productive and, above all, health-friendly. The e-book "Increasing productivity through correctly applied ergonomics" was published by Lean Ergonomics specialist Treston to provide designers and engineers with useful information: What are the health risks of non-ergonomic workstations? What are the key components of an ergonomic environment? How can existing workstations be ergonomically optimized?
