New modular sequence trolley for tugger trains

Can be stacked, electrified, driven under and automated

At LogiMAT (Hall 10, Stand F 15), TENTE will be presenting a modular sequence trolley as a concept vehicle with four interfaces for use in tugger trains. With its innovative chassis design, the TENTE sequence trolley does not require a third axle. Unlike conventional sequence trolleys, the TENTE sequence trolley can therefore be shifted by 90 degrees, which saves cumbersome and time-consuming shunting operations. In addition, the TENTE sequence trolley offers further advantages due to its two-axle design; it can be stacked, electrified, driven under and automated.

The TENTE modular sequence trolley concept is based on four customer-oriented interfaces:

  • The first interface is the running gear of the sequence trolley with different castors, e.g. tread qualities depending on load and speed; also antistatic, and different dimensions of the wheel diameters and thus the ground clearance.
  • The second interface is the frame, which the user can design individually, e.g. according to one- or two-pallet dimensions and with additional options such as raised loading edges, corner protectors (bumpers) etc.
  • The third interface enables the integration of the TENTE E-Drive start-up aid for a simplified and efficient manual shifting process.
  • The fourth interface creates the connection to an AGV. This is only possible because the third axle on the TENTE sequence trolley has been eliminated, thus providing sufficient ground clearance.
