MultiCheck 4.0

Fully automatic testing of thread gauge accuracy and measurement of thread depth

© GLM service and sales

A thread plug gauge checks the mating dimension of the internal thread. It checks compliance with the minimum dimension of the flank diameter including the pitch deviation, partial flank deviations and form deviations that cause an apparent reduction in the flank diameter of the workpiece thread.

Checking the thread gauge accuracy and measuring the usable thread depth is combined in one device with the MultiCheck series from JBO and is therefore significantly simplified.

The eMultiCheck also partially automates the manual screwing and unscrewing of the thread gauge. A definable screw-in torque ensures a reproducible process.

The next logical step was to fully automate the process. In close cooperation with GLM, the newly developed MultiCheck 4.0 was married to a Doosan Robotics Cobot.

The measurement results can later be transmitted wirelessly to the machine, e.g. in test reports or for direct parameter changes.

Multitasking machines, automation, 3D metal printing
From October 9 to 11, 2019, GLM-Service u. Vertrieb GmbH & Co. KG will be hosting a new in-house exhibition in Grefrath. More than 30 partners will be exhibiting products, services and financing solutions in the field of mechanical engineering. 10 lathes and milling machines will be presented, most of them under chip removal. There will also be 6 cobots of the latest generation and a 3D printer that prints out and onto different types of metal.
