Humidity and temperature transmitters for gas hazardous areas
The intrinsically safe EE100Ex from E+E Elektronik is certified in accordance with the European ATEX directive and the international IECEx standards for use in gas hazardous areas up to zone 1. The device precisely measures the relative humidity and temperature in the operating range 0...100 % RH and -40...60 °C and can be installed directly in potentially explosive atmospheres.
Thanks to the high-quality IP65 aluminum housing and a selection of different filter caps, the EE100Ex is very versatile. The robust sensor head, the E+E sensor coating and the encapsulated electronics of the sensor enable accurate and long-term stable measurements even in dirty and corrosive environments.
The measured values are available on two galvanically isolated, configurable 4...20 mA, 2-wire outputs.
The measuring transducer can be supplied with any intrinsically safe supply device or via Zener barriers.
