Built narrow and directly onto the floor roller
The new palletizer model of the AST series from Hirata combines the narrow frame of the AST series with the advantages of direct de-/palletizing from or onto classic floor rollers.
With a system width of just 900 mm in the working area and a system width of 1,100 mm in the loading area, this tray changer requires considerably less floor space than other palletizing systems for floor rollers. Palletizing directly onto floor rollers means that the internal logistics chain is not interrupted. The worker is only tied to the palletizing system for a short time to change the floor rollers. During this time, the trays continue to be processed without interruption. By providing several tray stacks in the appliance, the autonomy time can be varied according to customer requirements. The smallest system has an autonomy of three stacks. The palletizer also enables very high tray stacks of up to approx. 900 mm to be processed. Typical areas of application for the compact AST series palletizers are workpiece feeding in small parts assembly and palletizing workpieces on plastic injection moulding machines and machine tools.
