A full program ...
... dear readers, is what awaits us in Hanover from April 23 to 27. According to the organizers, the trade fair will be a "global hotspot for Industry 4.0". Cornerstones include state-of-the-art automation technology, industrial IT platforms, machine learning, networking and collaboration. We will get you in the mood for the trade fair's main theme "Integrated Industry - Connect & Collaborate" with a special feature.
Production and logistics processes are increasingly interlinked. In my view, it is therefore logical and sensible for Cemat to take place at the same time and in the same place. Interested trade fair visitors will therefore have the opportunity to obtain comprehensive information about modern, networked and automated manufacturing and logistics processes. In our themed issue "Material flow in industrial production", which is enclosed with this issue of handling, we take a look at the flow of goods and data.
Of course, there is also constant movement and progress in the field of robotics. The industry is booming - between 2018 and 2020, annual sales in Germany in general industry and the automotive industry will continue to grow by an average of at least five percent per year, according to the latest IFR report. Robot manufacturers therefore have a lot to do and a full program with their presence in Hanover and soon at Automatica in Munich. With this issue you will receive the now familiar robotics supplement.
See you in Hanover? I wish you a successful trade fair!
Yours
