SCOPE has a new design and is sharpening its editorial profile! We also look beyond the horizon and show you which technologies from the world of IT and electronics can be useful to you in the digital transformation of your production.
If you want to be successful in the long term, you cannot escape the digital transformation. Digitalization and the associated networking is a common thread running through all industries and areas of life.
We at SCOPE are responding to this development. In future, we will continue to inform you about the latest news and technologies in production and automation, but also about developments and trends in electronics and IT. We are your link between the production, automation, information technology and electronics sectors!
At the same time, we are sharpening our editorial profile with this new thematic focus. In addition to the latest trends in traditional mechanical engineering, you will now also find topics such as embedded systems, real-time Ethernet, cyber security, artificial intelligence and machine learning or big data analytics in our industry magazine. The focus on the benefits of a wide range of technologies for the manufacturing industry and mechanical engineering runs like a common thread through our medium: How do I master the digital transformation? Which embedded technologies can I use to make my existing machinery fit for the future? How do I implement safety & security solutions - and, above all, which ones? What role do data security, personal rights and compliance with the law and standards play for my company? You will find the answers to these questions with us!
Of course, the new thematic focus is also accompanied by a new design for our magazine. Our logo shines in new colors and will accompany you in the future not only in print and at events, but also online at http://www.scope-online.de. As part of a relaunch, our Internet portal has also been given a new design, which should not only impress you on your PC, but also on your mobile devices.
Incidentally, the third new addition to this position is me: as Editor-in-Chief, I will be available to answer any questions you may have about the realignment of SCOPE as well as being your contact for the key topics of production, industrial IoT and robotics + handling. My colleague Andreas Mühlbauer will focus his work on electronics, Industry 4.0 and automation. We receive active support from our editorial assistant Mara Hofacker.
